I owned and operated a business called Backyard Basics from 2000 to 2016. I was always in backyards doing estimates and installations and did some part time pressure washing because I liked to see dirty things get clean. I had a pretty good pressure washer but quickly learned that more pressure doesn’t always make things cleaner. I learned how to use bleach and surfactants to do some of the dirty work without high pressure and damage to surfaces. Soft wash is a lot more than just backing up to achieve low pressure. I invested in equipment on a pressure washing trailer that gave me the ability to demold and degrease surfaces and I also have the high pressure to us also. A true soft wash system has a dedicated pump to get the cleaning solutions to high places on multi-story houses and can even reach many roofs without having to step one foot on the roof which can damage shingles. We are not the biggest or fastest cleaners in town and do not want to be. Our goal is to do a job as good as anyone could do and earn your business for years to come.
